LASIK
LASIK (Laser-Assisted In-Situ Keratomileusis) is a type of laser refractive surgery used to correct myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness) and astigmatism. It has been performed for over 25 years and is a well-established, safe and effective procedure.
The procedure uses an Excimer laser to reshape the cornea so that light entering the eye is properly focused onto the retina resulting in clearer vision. LASIK is suitable for patients who are 18 years of age or older and have had a stable vision prescription for at least one year.

LASIK combines two procedures: microkeratome/femtosecond laser flap creation and excimer laser corneal sculpting. The flap repositions without sutures. Recovery is comfortable and rapid; all routine activities resume after one day.
INTRALASE / FEMTO-LASIK: Blade-free femtosecond laser flap creation with +/-2 micron accuracy, producing uniform and thinner flaps for superior outcomes.
CUSTOMIZED LASIK: Corrects higher order aberrations via aberrometer, with a personalized sculpturing pattern for best visual results and reduced glare/haloes.
Recovery is comfortable and rapid. All routine activities — including driving and computer use — resume after one day.
