Vision Foundation :

Vision Foundation, a non profit organisation, has been fulfilling the social obligations of this clinic. Mrs. Uma Varman, one of the trustees of the foundation has coordinated the activities of the foundation. Vision Foundation has dedicated itself in helping the poor and the under privileged through several eye screening camps and free surgeries. It has organised several eye camps for the corporation school children and has provided free glasses.

The Vision Foundation, along with SMILE, Satya Sai Seva Sangam and Rotary club of Madras, has organised several free eye camps.

More than 40% of the Cataract Surgeries performed in this clinic are done free of cost for the under privileged.

Vision Foundation works in close association with Unite for Sight Inc USA, for the past 2 years.
Unite For Sight is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness.
Student Volunteers most of them Medical Students are selected by Unite For Sight and sent to work with Doctors of Vision Foundation. The volunteers gain an insight into Indian health scenario and also get a satisfaction of changing the lives of so many people by giving them Sight restoring Cataract Surgeries which are funded by Unite For Sight.
