Implantable Contact Lenses (ICLs)
ICLs are also known as Phakic IOLs. These lenses are similar to the intraocular lenses used during cataract surgery to replace the natural lens. - Suitable candidates for ICL procedures
- Are between 21 and 45 years of age
- Have mild, moderate or severe myopia
- Have minor or no occurrence of astigmatism
- Have an unchanging vision correction prescription for at least 6 months
- Are not pregnant or nursing mothers
- Are not suitable for LASIK
